Have you checked the local cash and carry store. Quite often stolen goods turn up in those second hand shops that encourage money lending. I know from a personal account of a friend, that correct ownership is not established in many cases and over a period of time….eg valuable trade tools were taken and pawned by a female thief who couldn’t possibly have known how to use them due to her personal disposition. It would have been very obvious, yet they still gave her the money and took the goods. The owner then purchased his own tools back to prevent a legal nightmare eventuating……
I suppose I am stating the obvious to make sure the Police and the local BMX Club are notified…..Usually kids watch out for each other’s stuff at times like that….Letters to the local papers and also check out the bike racks around the local schools (bit late now, but perhaps the swimming pool in your area)
No help at all I know, just a few suggestions…….Good luck Kid, I do hope it turns up soon for you…Quite mean spirited at this time of the year…I hope some parent hasn’t compounded the theft by stealing for their own child and setting in motion, a delinquent for tomorrow’s generation.
My son never got his bike back this is a very sad world
